A solution of BCG (10mg/L) was used.
1.0 ml of BCG was added to 4.0 ml of water.
How do I find out the moles/litre for this?
Molecular weight of BCG is 698.
      Thanks

find how much solute you have, divide by how much solvent. Change to moles as necessary.

first: we find the weight of BCG when solution 1.0ml :
      = 10mg/L x 1.0 X 10^(-3)L= 0.01 mg= 0.0001g
and we have the mole of BCG
      =0.0001/698=0.00000014(mol)
      the moles/litre is:
      =0.00000014/((1.0+4.0)x10^(-3))=0.00003
