I have been looking for an answer as to how How RNA and DNA molecules differ and how their roles differ but cannot really understand it. Anyone out there able to provide a simple solution to my quagmire?

look in your textbook: the chemical structure of RNA en DNA is different en that’s why RNA is more susceptible for degradation.
Beside this: there are different RNA moloecules with differing functions and synthesis enzymes.
