Hey!Maybe there was a similar topic or it seems silly but I’ll take the risk.
Here are the rules of the game:
Member should post 5 biology therms and next member should connect them and post another 5 words etc…Eg.Bacteria, monozygotic twins, tracing ancestors, aging, muscular dystrophy
I’ll not hang on internet in next few days so here’s the answer
Mitochondrial DNA…origin from bacteria,it is used to distinct monozygotic twins in crime investigating and in tracing female line ancestors(inherited from mother)…accumulation of mutations in mtDNA is connected with aging and there is a kind of muscular dystrophy related with mutation in mtDNA.
Next member should post 5 therms…

ATP drives the Active transport of ions within the nervous system and microtubule cytoskelotons of T cells for mobility even in the absence of all nutrients transiently from a major stressor.

That’s not my orginal idea but you are great on arranging it! 🙂

cool, I liek thos game.

T-Cell, Nutrients, Stressor, ATP, Nervous System
My original idea was: When a stressor comes, both physically or mentally, it will affect the nervous system, the brain, which will trigger to the production of extra adrenalin. This hormone will provide more ATP for energy that comes from a conversion from glikogen to glucose. In the meantime, the stressor will affect special T-Cell to secrete an inhibitor factor that could worsen the immune system/diseases. That’s why if peope get stressed during their illness, the recovery takes longer than when people get optimistic or positive to get healthy soon. 50 % medicine of an illness is a optimistic an possitive mind 😉

What’s the inhibitor factor for?
- October 6, 2006 at 7:15 am #56068Dr.SteinParticipant
Actually it’s not a real inhibitor factor, it is a cytokin that supresses the proliferation of T-cell. This condition will disturb the immune system.

well…to tell u guys the truth….i would be real bad in this game…..knowledge level not so high!

protein, testis, zygot, extraction, serum
The idea is easy/simple but I made it complicated 😆
- October 10, 2006 at 4:27 am #56274AmrikParticipant
Arghhh i jus cant get something abt the serum and extractiion!
Testis produces sperm, sperm’s whip-like tail is studded with selective channels made from a protein called CatSper1. This sperm wen ejaculated into a woman’s vagina will swim up the vagina to fertilise the ovum..wen the ovum is fertilised by the sperm it is called fertilisation the cells then divide via mitosis process to form a zygote.

I know Stein’s isn’t done, but I wanna put one up for the field biologists.
invasive species, succession, ecotone, niche, competition
that should be fairly simple.

Yeah I am done.
Nice one, Sorn!!! 😀

Maybe we should un-sticky this thread?
