Nanotechnolgy is about building materials at a scale which are not visible even through a microscope. Recently I read that DNA could be a material of choice which fulfills the requirements of a nanoengineer. What properties of DNA make it so very desirable? One thing we know is that we know a lot about DNA than any other biomolecule. Is that the reason or are there some more?

IMHO it’s that you can reach different complementary binding and thus reach different shapes. There are plenty articles, especially in Science 🙂
