None whatsoever. It’s a completely useless fabrication and a waste of time.

a better question is who the hell signed the paper work to put a patents on the human genome.

And whoever allowed that to be patented. Although gene sequences are definitely completely out of the classical field of what could be patented (new produce of human ingenuity if I do not translate too badly)
