why thermosensitive bacteria (Ts) can not grow on a restrictive temperture and does in a permissive one?
is it because the restrictive temperture doesn’t allow the replication od the DNA?Please forgive my bad english 😳 .
thank you - April 5, 2009 at 12:25 pm #90007MrMisteryParticipant
no, it’s usually because there is a mutant protein that can only fold at the permissive temperature, not at the restrictive temperature.
