So, my last post received no response, other than my own two bumps (talking to yourself is not much fun). Hopefully, this works out better.
I’m looking for some links to sites that explain/describe the anatomy of the human cheek, and what the purpose of the cheek is.

The anatomy of the cheek? The cheek is simply skin on the outside, connective tissue and then mucose membrane on the inside. the only functions i know it to have are the one mithril said and in talking…

They also protect the insides of your mouth. (gums, teeth, tongue, etc.)
