radioactive probe or non-radioactive probe
why?? - August 21, 2006 at 1:59 pm #53714mmiaosmilingParticipant
that will depend on what ur aim is and how accurate u need.

You do not probe in electrophoresis… you use a probe in a southern. And then radioactivity for probe is almost religion 🙂
More seriously some people will defend the non-radiaoctive probes as as good as radioactive, while others will tell you that radioactive is best. In my experience both have problems and at least non-radioactive are much less trouble to handle. - November 9, 2006 at 4:26 am #58642sachinParticipant
Its best to use non radioactive probe. As intense care to handle and detect.
But non-radioactive or say "fluroscent calating" is best practiced for AGEP, PGAL etc…
