Hello,
A long time ago, I watched a program about an experiment during which the subjects were given a drink which lowers the level of serotonin significantly. Is this a well-known experiment? Are the ingredients of the drink known, or any ingredient capable of such an effect?

high levels of serotonin induce optimism,pleasantness so with low level u should feel moody,even be aggressive..also when brain detects night melatonin is made from serotonin and u feel sleepy(that’s why u drink milk before bedetime -milk contains tryptophan…(aminoacid from which serotonin is synthesized)…then from serotonin melatonin is made(melatonin is secreted from pineal gland)during night…

because i dont want that drink! 😆but i know when I need seratonin i eat chockolate. yum! 🙂

Chocolate is also a source of ß-endorphin 😉
Serotonin + endorphin = a lot of pleasure hmmm 🙂
