[*]Hey all-
Was wondering if you could give me your thoughts on this essay question:If all molecular cell biological knowledge were to be destroyed what brief single sentence would contain the most information for the next generation of creatures? What short statement can you make about molecular cell biology that would say the most in the fewest words?
I have some ideas on what I could say, but would love any suggestions on other ways I could go with this.
Thanks for your help. - July 19, 2010 at 5:06 pm #100603JackBeanParticipant
one-sentence-essay? Pretty short, isn’t it?

Sure is. Technically it has to be no longer than 35 words. Pretty much just wants it short but sweet.

Molecular cell biology from a geneticists point of view would include DNA, but also as a epigeneticist, I would add in chromatin architecture just as important for expression and repression of that DNA.

do you think they will know, what epigenetics is?

Hm, does it include wiping out of the knowledge that cells even exist?
