  I did an experiment in the lab on Friday and the instructions said:
  "It is essential the enzyme solution is made fresh immediately prior to use"
  I was just wondering why this is. Is it just cos of denaturation or something else?

  depends on what enzyme it is

  probably the enzyme degrades easily… But yeah, it depends on the enzyme
