hi there
i have this genetic problem question to do.
i just want to know how i can start with it as the answer needs to be typed.the question is
Tall, cut leaved tomato plants are crossed with dwarf, potato-leaved plants giving in the F generation nothing but tall, cut leaved plants.these are allowed to cross with each other producing in the F2 generation
926 tall, cut leaved
288 tall, potato-leaved
293 dwarf, cut-leaved
104 dwarf, potato-leavedwhat explanation can be offered for these results.
to explain this how do i go about it.
is it that i need to say what the genotype is, phenotype etc.thanks to anyone who can help

Your first generation offspring tell you what’s dominant and recessive; from there it’s good old Mendelian combinations among the hybrids.
