Gibberellins and deforesation

Alright like I totally lost my last post on here about the rainforest so let me tell you again (though I don’t think it will be as good as the last one.) I am writing a debate paper on the rainforest and deforestation. Though my main focus is gibberellins. Ok so heres the sitch, I think that if you can put hormones in a human to make them mature faster ten why can’t we do the same to trees? The rainforest is running out at a fast rate. The worl used to cover 14% of the earth’s land mass. Now it only covers 6%. Experts estimate that we are losing 137 plants, animal and insect species every single day due to rainforest deforesation. Yes, trees do have hormones, they are called phytohormones. Check the link for details.

Thanks, I didn’t know that I am new to this website. Yes, plants have hormones like you said. Gibberellins help plants mature fast so they can drop seed faster. My proposition is why not inject this rainforest trees and plants with the gibberellins so that they will mature fast and reproduce faster to help rebuild the rainforest? Millions of tress are being cut down daily, we could lose our worlds rainforests in the next 40 years. I personally don’t want to see the rainforest gone, not just for the sole purpose that it is magnificant but that it is a home to plants, animals, and historical tribes!
