Hey. What exactly does a "Haem Prosthetic group" mean. Why prosthetic?

definition from me: a non-protein group that chained to protein as a complement for the protein’s function. usually consist of mineral substances..

Artificial implant, as in an artificial organ or limb.now, it’s up to you what is the most proper to you… 😆 I’m kind enough in searching the definition of the word for you don’t I?? 😆
