(b) If the size of the Podospora genome is 2.1 x 104 kb in size and the average fragment insert is 10 kb, how many recombinant clones will you need to make a complete genome library representing 99% of the genomic sequences?
How would you modify your strategy to ensure that the average insert size is indeed approximately 10 kb?
Don’t know how to do the second part!

What about to run electrophoresis after the digestion and cutting only region of about 10 kbp +- 500 bp?
