I think the polymerase chain reaction is where you make RNA.. not really sure though?
2. Of the two primers given below, which would you prefer and why?
5’ AAC CGA TTT ATA GTA AAA TAG 3’
5’ GGA CGA CCC AGC GAA TCG CAG 3’
(Hint: Primers must stick tightly at the edges)
I’m not sure if this has to do with hydrogen bonds or covalent bonds but I know AT has a lesser melting point than CG
3. Discuss the importance of Okazaki fragments in DNA replication.
With PCR u can get fast,specific amplification of a desired DNA fragment in high quantities…we make boundaries by primers…that attach on the ends of desired DNA segment… etc
Yeah I would rather choose the second…but has to be complementary to the "ends" of your segment..
