Standard pregnancy is 9 months…
And materal blood and foetal blood don’t mix – the placenta prevents the mixing of blood…
You should easily be able to find out about blood group inheritence yourself..

You could ask the same thing about any aspect of the baby – why doesn’t it have the same hair color as the mother? The answers all come down to, they are genetically different. The baby has half of Mom’s alleles and half of Dad’s.
There are some mammals, though, where mother and fetus must have the same blood features, since their blood mixes in the placenta (I think this is true of rabbits…).
