      hi there
      we know that phenotypical characters are controled by genotypes then i want to know that in case of animals and especially in the case of insects as they undergo metamorphosis what happens with DNA/gene structure does it remains as it is during entire life or some DNA/genes follow some sort of change with respect to growth,metamorphosis and other changes

      DNA itself is intakct when metamorphosis is ocurre, becouse metamorphosis is part of insect phenotipe that determinate within the DNA. So, during metamorphosis only gene antivation/inactivation pattern is change.

      Ya, Its about activation and inactivation of genes a every stage of life cycle as per needed.
