Immortality Theory Question

This theory is partially based on the movie Avatar.
If we COULD find a way to do the way they transfer the consciousness of the person in that movie, then in theory, all you would need to do is put that consciousness, YOUR consciousness, into another body, or a "blank" one with nothing in it and then just repeat till you’re bored with living.

The question at hand is HOW would you be able to transfer you’re consciousness from one body to another. One thought me and my buddy have thought of is that you can use stem cells or memory cells or something to that effect, duplicate them, and tada, all you gotta do is transfer them. the main question is how to transfer them. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

what if you could transfer your "consciousness" and use the memory cells to transfer all of the "data" to a new host body? then it wouldn’t need the original body because all that you "were" would be in the new body right?

Two massive problems:
-Blanks. Human bodies do not develop to adulthood without interaction with the rest of the world. How would you raise a blank?
-Consciounes transfer. Even if we assume that what makes you is only located in the brain, it is way more than just a few protein that can easily replicated. The cells and their interactions and probably a few tricks that we cannot see (epigenetic modifications and so on) are essential to determine us. And all that is connected to a particular body with the nervous system. All that would have to be transfered and "translated" to insure that the connections between the central nervous system and the peripheral one are essentially identical.

So we couldn’t do something like in the movie surrogates?

Well I think it will be possible one day. if you look at the advancements in technology then you can see that androids will soon be in life. so why not be able to connect and control these androids from a location? Maybe WE wont be connected to them but…maybe eventually we will find a way to regenerate cells and live forever 🙂 i hope
