on my worksheet it says "The father of a child displays almost exclusively dominant phenotypic traits, while the mother displays almost exclusively recessive phenotypic traits. explain how it is possible for the child to look more like their mother than their father."
so my question here is, isnt it suppose to say "explain how it is possible for the child to look more like their father than their mother" ? im kinda confused cause if father has a dominant phenotypic traits then the child should look more like their father//

Would have thought "domnent" would refer to a genotyp as in Mendelian genetics. I’m not familiar with a "dominent phenotype."

This is a very basic question to see if you understand how the alleles can work. It’s fine.
