I am currently doing mathematical research on the probability that 1 + 1 = 2. I am working with some university contacts on this.
I have a theory that the based on the way brain operates, 1 + 1 is probably not 2. I am working on a mathematical proof to justify this theory.
If it is true, then it could have huge implications for the study of biology. If not, it is a very interesting geeky theory.
Still confused on a few things and getting advice before formally presenting my theory.

I think it’s pretty much given, nothing you should discuss about. and especially not on biological forum 🙄

Sorry, I didn’t know that mathematics was offensive. I will keep off this forum then.
My theory is related to sensory perception and I believe that understanding how the brain interprets multiple sources of data may be a necessary part of understanding how the brain works. Hence, the mathematics. I just saw the proof as being useful as a conversation starter. I don’t agree with the common binary approach that Biologists use when trying to understand the brain.
