Hello,
I need help please – I have been trying to find out the role of voltage gated channels in the conduction of a nerve impulse along a myelinated neuron and I cannot find a simple answer, can anyone help?

The gates are concentrated at the nodes of ranvier. it’s called saltatory conduction.
