Hello.
I’m new in counting cells. I recently bought an improved Neubauer haemocytometer in order to calculate lymphocytes dyed with Trypan blue. The problem is that, I cannot detect the lines of the squares under the microscope (X10) even when the chambers are not loaded. Without the cover glass, I can barely see the lines. With the cover glass the problem gets worse and when I load the chambers I see nothing!
Do I have to change the settigs of the microscope?
Is it possible the haemocytometer is not a good one?Thank you.

hola, first looking the chamber without microscope you have to see the bars of divisions as an scratch on the two parts of chamber. after, under 40x objetive and playing with the condenser and power source to have less light you have to see the squares, but put any liquid between both glasses. Buena suerte
