hi, i am confused with the word lumen, lamina, lamins and laminin etc.
can anyone explain please?

lumen: space in a tube(like the inside of a pipe)
lamina: can refer to more than one structure. see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamina
lamins: intermediate filaments that make up the nuclear lamina
laminin: protein that makes up the basal lamina of epithelial tissues.
