hey all!! 😀
just wondering why does swimming in the ocean not have an effect on osmotic potential, thus why doesnt your body release water until your cells are at the same solute concentration as the sea water?

what do you know about the osmotic potential of seawater and cell contents?

is it possible that dermal cells are not affected by the concentration of nutrients in the outside environment?

can anyone give me a detailed explaination on how temperature affects osmosis?

Increasing temperature speeds it up to a point due to speeding up of molecules when heated.
you can find a more detailed one if you search… - November 9, 2006 at 12:39 am #58625
