Hi, in order to save cost of RT-PCR, I was thinking to do reverse transcription from mRNA to cDNA and use that cDNA in PCR for large scale screening purpose. I would like to ask will these two reaction give same results? Both RT-PCR using RNA and PCR using cDNA. Thank you.

Hi
I think these two reaction can give the same results.
Because RT-PCR refers to reverse transcription PCR and include "mRNA to cDNA" and "c
DNA to dsDNA.
In fact, doing reverse transcription from mRNA to cDNA yourself is one step of RT-PCR. they are the same.
