      The pH of fresh saliva is 8 and immediately it loses carbondioxide and pH becomes 6…

      My question is that cabon dioxide is an acid so when the carbondioxide is lost how pH becomes 6?

      it’s a pH buffer meaning there’s other stuff in saliva
