which protein is present in plasma but NO in serum?
a) albumin
b) alpha globulins
c) gamma globulins
d) fibrinogen
e) hemoglobini dont think a,b,c,d, , just want to be sure,

I think that the definition for serum would be blood plasma which get seperated from its fibrinogen..

Isabell, here I give you a clue.
If we want to obtain plasma, we need to add ANTICOAGULANT mixed with our blood sample. Whereas, if we want to obtain serum, we do not need that substance. After being incubated for few minutes, we centrifuge our blood sample and we get our plasma or serum.
So? Now it’s time for you to get the correct answer 🙂

Thanks alot, after i read your reply and read again my text book, i got the answer fibrinogen, hemoglobin how i thought, is normally found free in the plasma,
