2 major biochemical reactions that occur in the peroxisome is the mixed function oxidase and the other is a catalase but what 2 enzymes are involved in these reactions?…beta oxidation one of them?

I guess what I’m asking is I’m not 100% sure what 2 enzymes are involved in these reactions…. help would be appreciated?

Honestly I’m not sure because peroxisome was only broadly covered. However, I did search peroxisome on wikipedia and I’m pretty sure they cover what you’re asking.

mixed oxidASE and peroxidASE are enzymes, so you’re asking not for enzymes, but for the reactions

The two major enzymes involved are catalase and superoxide dismutase (peroxidase is a family of enzymes). They are involved in beta oxidation and removal of ROS.
