Hey all,
Short sight is callled Myopiua and long sight hypermetropia.
I came across the term Pres Myopia and wondered WHAT is it?
Can u help me with this?

Are you talking about presbyopia? I don’t know the other.

Myopia is nearsightedness,hyperopia is farsightedness. I think you meant presbyopia, a condition that happens in the elderly. There are more terms like amblyopia (lazy eyes), strabismus (crossed eyed), astigmatism (asymmetrical curved cornea) etc……

Hi,
You might find it easier to remember this term if you think of the religious grouping of presbyterianism, (meaning a church, although led by a minister, largely organized by elders).
Thus, presbyopia – a condition of the eyes usually observed in ‘elders’, which, in this case, can occur from the 40’s onwards, where the person may initially require glasses for reading, e.g.
