In any DNA replicating process, primers are involved. Primers specify the starting point for DNA replication but how does it specify the end?

ok I have read it… so just to make sure that I understood it right, it is not really the primers function to determine the ‘end’ of replication. It is really the telomere’s function. Right?

Are telomere’s also known as short tandem repeats?
