Hi everybody!
I want to check the cleavage of a protein. The fragments I expect are 54 kDa and 8 kDa…
8 kDa is very small 🙁 Is it possible to see this small thing on a sds-gel??? 😯 - October 28, 2009 at 1:10 pm #94166JackBeanParticipant
Sure, why not? You just have to choose the right concentration of AA/BIS (maybe use gradient, to have good resolution at both 8 and 54 kDa;), use silver staining and maybe add a little bit more of protein to see it 😉
