      dn/dt=PA(c2-c1)
      dn/dt=quantity transported per time unit
      P=permeability coeficient
      A=the surface of contact where diffusion takes place
      c2,c1=concentrations of the stuff on both sides, c2>c1

      IS this what you need??

      rate of diffusion = surface area x difference in concentration
      length of diffusion pathway

      Rate of diffusion(r) = volume of the gas diffuse/time take for diffusion

      Rate of diffusion(r) = V/t

      formula: rate A/rate B=sq. rt. B MM/sq. rt. A MM
      want: MM unknown
      know: MM 16.04 g/mol CH4

      step 1: let x= rate A, CH4= rate B
      step 2: plug in values and solve using formula
      step 3: ANS
