Hello. I have a theory. First of all, “subjugate” means control/enslave – to force someone else to submit to your rule.
Just like there is a “flight or fight” natural instinct, I believe there is also a “subjugate or be subjugated” instinct which occurs in the event of chaos (no-one in charge). Obviously the word “subjugate” is not part of our biological makeup. The instinct manifests itself in a desire to reach out with your hands to CONTROL all moving things.
I managed to simulate this in myself by pretending I had no empathy and then imagining a chaotic situation. I either need to passively wait while someone else takes charge or I need to try to get people to join my camp. Subjugate or be subjugated. I chose to subjugate.
There is a wonderful “subjugation rush” that comes with being able to control your environment. There is nothing that you won’t do to ensure that you become the subjugator.
I believe in modern science this is referred to as a “power rush”, but it should more correctly be called a “subjugation rush”. And it should not be treated as a mental illness, it is probably something inherent in all males (no idea about females).
We saw Al Sadr pick up a gun and vie for power in Iraq (not realising that that was impossible). He just saw the chaos and reacted to it.
What does everyone think of my theory/findings? I believe this word “subjugate” is the missing key in understanding human behaviour. He who subjugates gets to breed with more women.

Thanks for the pointer. That didn’t even occur to me. I’ll try some psychology groups.
