Millipore/Upstate recently discontinued their uH2A antibody(cat# 05-678). I was wondering if anyone knows any other sources of uH2A antibody. Thanks. 😀

I am in dire need of this antibody too. I have already contacted the person who originally established the uH2A antibody producing hybridoma cell line. He told me that the clone probably died (!?) and that his lab ran out of the antibody. Any information about alternative sources is highly appreciated.
So far, It looks like H2A pulldown and probing for ubiquitin is the only way.

Hi Guys,
I too have been struggling to find this antibody. Has anyone called Millipore to see if they plan on re-instating anti-uH2A anytime soon? If not, I may be able to make one, but it would take a while. Please post updates if you find anything.
Thanks!

I called Millipore and also the person that initially established the uH2A antibody producing hybridoma. He told me that the clone died and that is why Millipore discontinued this antibody.
Yes, please make a new uH2A antibody. 🙂

I am confused. I called Millipore and they said they had 20 units of the antibody left. I am going to try and order it today, and will update as to whether I can get it or not

Hey Guys,
I don’t know who you talked to at Millipore, but my uH2A antibody (05-678) is coming tomorrow. Give them a call and get some!
Best,

You are right Dan! I just called Millipore and now the antibody is available again. However, they do only have 3 units left at the moment.
Hurry up guys!
