ParticipantI think he means like dirt and stuff getting into the digesting tract. Hairs in the nose, muscus lining etc.

One they don’t move place to place plus the have a protecting coating on them that I think is mucus.

ParticipantHe is speaking about the acids that are secreted by the stomache to break down foods as well as bile. For this I believe we have enzymes that coat the lining of the tissues that make the acids well not acidic, we have mucus, and the last one I do not know.

ParticipantIt’s bile isn’t it? Bile acts as a neutraliser which stops the Acid from damaging our small intestine tissue.
It’s just a guess anyway……
